Trojan Her Pleasure Ectasy Condom - Review
Our staff of Safer Sexologists put the Trojan Her Pleasure Ectasy Condom to the test! Here is where the Trojan Her Pleasure Ectasy Condom ranks!
I was exctited to try the Trojan Her Pleasure Ectasy condom, because I had never used one of these bulb condoms before and didn’t know how I really felt about them. But my partner sure loved them. Having the bulb at the end made it super comfortable for him. He could move around inside of the condom which felt great, and we didn’t worry at all about it breaking. For a couple that exclusively uses condoms for birth control, these were a great and comfortable option.
I really can’t describe how awesome the bulb end felt. It’s over 2” wide, and even for a man as girthy as mine, it gave him plenty of wiggle room. While the condom was never in danger of falling off, he felt like he had more mobility in it and wasn’t as restricted.
Like with many of Trojan’s latex products, the latex smell of the Trojan Her Pleasure Ectasy condoms really sticks to the hands. But I didn’t find the taste super noticeable, so if the smell doesn’t bug you that bad, you shouldn’t have a problem using these for oral.
The lubricant is water-based. When I was rolling the condom down, it was super slick and soft-- so slick, it almost made it hard for me to get the condom on my partner, which is actually exactly what you want in a lube. Unfortunately, being that it was water-based, it didn’t last as long as a silicone-based lube. But it’s great initially, and pairing it with a silicone-based lube, like Wet Platinum, will help you keep the excitement going.
The only thing that really bugged me about this condom was that the ribs are so far down. They’re called Her Pleasure because of these ribs, but I didn’t really notice them at all. The condom is approximately 8” long, and the ribs don’t start until 5” from the tip. Calling them ecstasy is a bit of a stretch.
