These balls are good for beginners as they are big enough you can actually feel them - but they are called "extra large" making you feel like they are going to be huge - but they are just a little over 1 inch in diameter making them just right. I expected them to have weighted balls inside of the plastic coating so they would move around while inside me, but no luck! There is no movement. :( But very good for doing kegals. Plastic is BPA free so no weird chemicals being leeched inside me - I'm very picky about materials! Overall I am pleased and happy with my purchase. I use them often!
