Night Light Glow in the Dark Condom - Review
Our staff of Safer Sexologists put the Night Light Glow in the Dark Condom to the test! Here is where the Night Light Glow in the Dark Condom ranks!
One of the perks of working in an office full of condoms is that I’ve managed to collect a wide assortment of rubbers.
So, in the heat of the moment this past weekend, my partner grabbed, at random, the Night Light Glow In The Dark Condom from the pile and we decided to put it to the Condom Depot test.
As the first glow in the dark condom to be approved by the FDA for the prevention of pregnancy and disease, the Night Light Condom promises to add a new dimension to any love life.
The condom features extra thickness to provide durability and protection, it is specially lubricated for maximum pleasure and glide, and even comes equipped with a reservoir tip that offers extra safety and comfort. Although it is a sort-of novelty item, it is manufactured to the same rigorous standards for safety and reliability as other U.S. condoms.
Instructed to hold the condom under a light source for 30 seconds before putting it on definitely dampened the mood, but created this anticipation that was on par with opening presents on Christmas day. Except, upon ripping open the package after 30 seconds, we were both immediately underwhelmed at the level of light this rubber was supposedly intended to produce. After putting on the condom, my partner’s manhood was not immediately turned into a glowing wizard staph like I had imagined, and I felt a small dose of disappointment flood my child-like heart.
Despite the lack of light, the Night Light Condom was like any other standard condom. My partner described it as “nothing special” and admitted that the condom did end up drying up pretty quickly and should definitely be used with additional lubrication. From my perspective, I had the same complaints – the condom was comfortable for me for the most part, but did end up feeling a little dry mid-sex session.
