Do normal ribbed condoms just not have enough ribs for you? Oh boy, Trojan's Intense Ribbed condom is just for you.

When they talk about intense ribs, they really mean it!

Trojan's Intense Ribbed condom has the biggest ribs on any condom I’ve ever seen. I might not be the biggest fan of ribs, but if you love textured condoms, this is going to have to be on your list. And unlike other ribbed condoms, the ribs run pretty much the whole length of the condom. I’ve seen other condoms where the ribs are closer to the open end, making them virtually useless if you’re of a more average length.

Also, with the flared head, this condom is perfect for girthier folks, or those who are uncircumcised. At 8.25" (209.55mm) long and 2.12" (53.8mm) wide, my girthy partner found this condom comfortable and roomy, but didn't have any issue with it slipping off or becoming too tight.

Like many Trojan products, the lube on this condom is kind of whatever. It's water-based so it dried up after only a little bit of friction and became tacky. We decided to pair it with WET Platinum silicone lubricant, our favorite silicone-lube of the moment and it was a perfect match.

Now, you know I’m picky about my condom scents. And this sucker stinks of latex. This is another shared trait with fellow Trojan products, so it doesn’t necessarily come as a surprise. And if you don't care for the smell like I do, it could be an issue.

If you drool when you hear the word, 'ribs,' you're going to be sorely disappointed by the taste of Trojan's Intense Ribbed. They taste nothing like your favorite barbecue sauce (you can get back to me later about that idea, Trojan). I would not recommend this condom for oral due to the intense latex taste, unless you're coating in a flavored lube, such as System Jo Strawberry Kisses lubricant. 

Final Verdict

Despite my distaste for ribs and heavy latex scents, Trojan Intense Ribbed condoms weren't half bad. The flared head and extra added girth made this condom super comfortable for my partner and made it feel more natural for both of us.
