Condom Review: LifeStyles Ultra Sensitive

As someone who prefers to prepare for things in advance, I had preemptively laid out a variety of condoms for use with my partner. Out of the bunch, he selected the LifeStyles Ultra Sensitive condom.

As it turns out, he chose very wisely. As a longer and thinner gentleman, this super thin latex condom was the perfect fit for him-- meaning it was ideally sized for keeping us both safe without any fear of slippage or breaking. With a 3.8” (98.42mm) circumference and a 7.87” (199.89mm) length, this condom is perfect for anyone who has a somewhat thin shaft size at the base, but is too girthy to comfortably fit into snugger fit style condoms (like LifeStyles Snugger Fit condoms which have a 3.6” ((91.44mm) circumference)).

Even though I expected something with the word, 'sensitive,' in it to provide extra sensitivity, I was still very happy to discover that this was indeed the case, for both of us. We had no trouble feeling each other through the soft, high quality material of the condom, which is rare and simply fantastic. They felt much thinner and skin-like than other sensitive condoms I've tried such as Durex Extra Sensitive condoms.

Not only was the condom great at transferring our body heat through the super soft latex, it was also very durable. It does come pre-lubricated with a generous amount of water-based lube, but we didn't want to take any chances as to whether or not this lube would be enough to withstand acrobatic and lengthy intercourse. Not surprisingly, we paired it with our favorite condom-safe lube, ID Millennium-- for extra protection against breakage due to friction. I’ve got to say, this was a winning combination for both of us.

This condom is traditionally shaped, meaning it has a straight fit, a smooth texture and a reservoir tip. It’s naturally colored latex and it doesn’t have a strong odor. I will point out these leave behind a latex taste that's unpleasant, but it’s not so bad that it broke the mood or ruined the experience. But, I wouldn’t recommend these for fellatio (check out which ones I do recommend for oral right here).

Final Verdict:

LifeStyles Ultra Sensitive condoms are my new go-to condoms. Girth-wise, they’re a step in-between snugger fit condoms and regular width condoms, so they fill the niche for penises in this particular size zone-- plus they feel incredibly soft and thin.
